Infinity Ward is working on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: The reboot of the popular ego shooter from 2009 is to be launched for consoles and PC this year. Return of popular content – but not for a launch?
Insider Tom Henderson reports that the cards should be planned for Call of Duty Warzone 2 . However, this does not necessarily mean that the maps can also be played directly in the premium title (Modern Warfare 2) as 6VS6 variant, at least for the launch. However, the fact that Infinity Ward and Activision bring individual fan favorites back seems to have been made up. It remains to be seen at what time and to what extent the content is available. It is likely that Modern Warfare 2 maintains the current season format. The first person shooter should therefore regularly be expanded to include additional content such as maps, modes, weapons and operators within the seasons.
