This year, the next large RPG of Bethesda should appear with Starfield. Hard to believe, because we still did not get a gameplay presented. We just have to trust the studio if you report us from the ambitions of the game. At least we know something better now, with what innovations we can count on, because the design director of Starfield reveals us some role models for the massive game world.
Starfield knew in Spider-Man and Cyberpunk 2077
Specifically, Emil Pagliarulo calls for Bethesda for 19 years, in a blog entry Spider-Man and Cyberpunk 2077 as sources of inspiration. The fact that the design boss is currently calling the title of CD project comes a little surprising after the studio for the Miesen Launch had to pick up a lot of criticism.
Why does this give sense? Pagliarulo, of course, goes as a designer mainly around the game world. And that’s exactly what it has fascinated at Cyberpunk: “To create such a gigantic and open environment as Night City? That is not easy. Really impressive.”
Cyberpunk 2077 may not be as exposing as GTA 5 or Skyrim, but offers a previously hardly seen verticality. Even though not all systems work as originally planned, Night City itself is quite an achievement.
Also Skyrim is of course a model of the Starfield team:
