Only six years after the 2019 World Cup, France wants to align the women’s football Championship for the first time. On Thursday, the French Association FFF announced the official application for the EM-Tournament 2025. The decision on the organizer is the Executive Committee of the European Football Union UEFA in December. Other candidates include Poland, Switzerland, Ukraine and an alliance from Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. The German Football Association (DFB) had already announced 2020 joint application with the Netherlands and Belgium around the World Cup 2027. The next EM will take place this summer in England (6 to 31 July).
