Call of Duty League 2022 returns to the program in person from January

Call of Duty: Vanguard came out in September 2021 on the platforms. The title ended the Call of Duty era: Black Ops Cold War. Towards the end of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the world experienced a major change when Covid-19 struck. The Pandemic of Covid-19 meant that most major events, including Esport events, would be canceled. The team behind the Call of Duty League had to adapt over the last two years and passed to the online game. However, while Covid-19 pandemic becomes more manageable, it’s time to return to LAN events. Today, the Call of Duty League Kick-off Classic presented by Tennis Gaming will bring together the twelve teams of Texas competition to compete in LAN.

The Kick-off Classic will take place from January 21st to 23rd. The weekend tournament will take place at the Eurosport Stadium of Arlington, Texas. The League will publish more information about tickets and more specific details at a later date.

In addition to the Kick-Off Classic, 2022 will be full of professional action Call of Duty. Optic Texas will welcome the first Major from February 4th. Each of the four majors of the year will follow the same scheme. There will be three weeks of online gambling in a LAN action weekend to crown the winner of the major.

In addition, there will be two mid-season tournaments featuring pro-am players and pros, streamers and influencers of Call of Duty: War zone.

To close the year, eight teams will play the World Champion title in Playoff. This year, there will be no bye and all competing teams will be placed in the round 1 bracket winners. Atlanta Fate was champion last season. Who will raise the trophy this time?
